Born in Amsterdam’s festival season, Yella Band fuses African roots with Western funk into ‘afro-funk’. Fronted by Senegalese multi-talent Mame N’Diack Seck Thiam and Dutch bass artist Rosan Asmussen, the collective blends soulful storytelling, deep basslines, and a unique vocal language that transcends borders. Joined by Jur de Vries and Fabio Galeazzi, Yella Band creates danceable rhythms that celebrate unity through music. Music is medicine.
